Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA, Inc.) is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate- Protein Purification to support our Pharmaceutical services clients in South San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct hands-on research in drug discovery and gene therapy modalities, with a focus on protein purification and characterization.
- Design and execute well-controlled experiments to advance project goals, including biophysical, biochemical, and biological analyses.
- Collaborate with research groups to develop therapeutics for intracellular and extracellular targets.
- Communicate results and data to project teams and stakeholders.
- BS, MS, or PhD in biochemistry, protein engineering, molecular biology, or a related field, with significant wet-lab experience.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic wet-lab skills, including protein purification, PCR, construct design, cloning, and biochemical assays.
- Motivated, collaborative, self-directed, and efficient.
