We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our Mobile Response Team at Lightshare Behavioral Wellness & Recovery. As a key member of our team, you will provide crisis intervention services to clients in need, utilizing your expertise in human services and crisis management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention services to clients in person or by telephone, including referrals, diagnostic assessments, and crisis intervention treatment.
- Conduct emergency on-site assessments of clients to determine the need for psychiatric care, assess and stabilize high-risk individuals and/or families.
- Respond to calls within 1 hour, maintaining records in accordance with agency policies and completing required outcomes protocols.
- Participate in agency meetings and in-services, assisting clients in removing personal and environmental obstacles to recovery through assessing needs and community services.
- Serve as a personal guide and mentor in management of personal and family recovery through follow-up contact and service connections within the recovery community.
- Provide referrals to clients for outside agencies as needed, and provide accurate and timely documentation within the charts.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential, following established confidentiality policy and procedures, and maintaining professional boundaries with clients.
- Maintain inter- and intradepartmental workflow by fostering a spirit of cooperation, adhering to the Lightshare Mission and Pillars: Compassion, Acceptance, Respect, Empowerment, and Stewardship.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with all persons served, including a demonstrated commitment to person-centered care and recovery-oriented approaches to care.
- Complete all other duties and special projects as assigned.
