Key Responsibilities
  • Record patient information, including insurance details, and utilize electronic health records to ensure accurate and efficient data management.
  • Discuss and consult health history, diagnosis, and needs with patients to provide personalized care and support.
  • Educate patients on necessary steps for follow-up care, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and next steps.
  • Work with insurance companies to assist with billing and coding, obtaining pre-approval for treatment as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with service providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain professionalism and treat patients with respect, providing excellent customer service and a supportive environment.
  • Perform and collect specimens accurately, utilizing phlebotomy skills to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collect data and create spreadsheets to track patient information and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a patient care coordinator, receptionist, or front desk staff, with familiarity with EMR systems a plus.
  • Must have phlebotomy experience, with a certified phlebotomist preferred.
  • Valid license or certification, with a strong commitment to customer service and excellent bedside manner.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster shots, and bring their own laptop or tablet to work.
  • Must be able to commute to Santa Monica, CA.
