Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Andover, MA. As a key member of our Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for resolving supplier nonconformances and ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are fully implemented. Your on-site presence will allow for immediate response to potential issues with supplier material and seamless collaboration with Operations and Quality teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier nonconformance resolution
  • Ensure root-cause analysis and corrective solutions are implemented
  • Use lessons learned to reduce future risk across the supply chain
  • Identify and support continuous product/process improvements using statistical/analytical tools
  • Work with cross-functional teams to affect rapid closure of issues
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Math
  • Minimum 8 years of Quality Engineering, Manufacturing engineering, Supplier Management, or related field experience
  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes
  • Commercial and aerospace/defense regulations and standards experience
  • Preventative tools experience (APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience building and maintaining collaborative business relationships
  • Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Six Sigma, Lean, and/or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification
  • DoD product and process oversight experience
  • Export/Import Compliance procedures and regulations experience
