Overview

Per Sé Group is in search of a Senior Manager for Portfolio & Asset Management, representing a global leader in sustainable electricity generation and energy solutions. This role will operate under the guidance of the VP/Director of Portfolio & Asset Management, collaborating closely with team members, as well as the Accounting and Finance departments, to facilitate the commercial management of portfolio and asset operations for power generation and battery storage facilities.


Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Reconciliation:
Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of monthly invoices for various stakeholders.

Budget Management & Reporting:
Contribute to the development of annual budgets, proforma documents, presentations, and monthly reports for asset managers and shareholders.

Regulatory Compliance:
Support the monitoring and adherence to all project permits and licenses, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with Legal on FERC registration for management changes.

Contract Management:
Update and oversee existing and new agreements, including Resource Adequacy agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, Gas Purchase Agreements, Insurance policies, and Energy Management Agreements.

Financial Oversight:
Assist in managing project finance and credit agreement documentation, including letters of credit, collateral, and parent guarantees.

Operational Support:
Provide assistance with operational challenges such as unplanned outages, unexpected expenses, and financial impact analyses.

Merchant Project Monitoring & Risk Management:
Review data related to merchant power plant assets and update monthly earnings forecasts. Engage in risk discussions with project partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline.
Strong proficiency in Excel (including complex financial modeling), PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience in the electric power generation sector, particularly in Asset Management or Operations roles, is highly desirable. Familiarity with project documentation for operational assets is beneficial.

A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and a strong desire to learn.
