Job Description

Bosch Group is seeking an experienced Heating and Air Conditioning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support center, you will provide technical assistance to contractors, dealers, engineers, architects, and homeowners on various heating, cooling, and hot water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide phone and email-based troubleshooting and applications assistance to customers and contractors.
  • Work with different departments to support new product introductions, provide guidance on currently supported products, and assist in continuous improvement projects.
  • Represent the business with root cause analysis in complaint resolution or technical investigation when required.
  • Establish and maintain electronic support records of calls and emails.
  • Review technical materials to verify correctness and develop departmental technical documents.
  • Provide troubleshooting and applications support internally to related departments and outside sales representatives.
  • Provide peer-level support developing others in areas of technical expertise.
  • Assist the business in continual product and process improvements and reducing warranty and goodwill costs.
  • Perform on-site field troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience with a minimum of two of the following: gas service, installations, controls, fuel combustion, heat exchange/transfer, fluid transfer, fresh air and exhaust systems, air conditioning, compressors, and domestic hot water systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oil service and installations experience.
  • Gas, Oil license, NATE certification, Refrigerant Service EPA certification.
  • Experience with geothermal and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and willingness to take initiative.
  • Diplomatic and strong interpersonal skills to handle customer escalations in a professional manner.
  • Excellent customer orientation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and aptitude to deal with sensitive information.
  • Knowledge to function as a member of a team.
