Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. in Londonderry, NH. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing construction materials testing on samples of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, aggregate, and other materials associated with various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory tests on construction materials to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Read, learn about, and apply written testing standards
- Work with other laboratory and field technicians, interns, and managers to achieve project goals
- Maintain and organize the laboratory, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment
- Perform physical tasks, such as lifting and carrying samples and equipment, and occasional fieldwork
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math skills and ability to write or type observations and test results
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and prior experience working in a lab environment is helpful but not required
- Extensive training and job experience to develop your skills and expertise
