General Overview


The Retail Sales Representative will assist in receiving, stocking, and pricing all merchandise while helping to maintain a clean and organized presentation of products and overall store cleanliness.


Key Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Customer Engagement:

  • Proactively assist customers in resolving issues.
  • Welcome customers upon entering and throughout their visit. Thank customers upon completion of their shopping and as they exit the store.
  • Exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor; collaborate effectively with both customers and team members.
  • Ensure all radio communications and calls are addressed promptly, courteously, and effectively.
  • Direct any customer complaints that cannot be resolved to a member of management.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and familiarity with store layout and product locations.
  • Provide personalized assistance to customers throughout the store, aiming to exceed their expectations.

Store Operations:

  • Contribute to creating a positive, professional, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise throughout the store.
  • Help maintain back stock levels.
  • Support daily maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise area.
  • Ensure a clean and organized sales floor, including promotional displays and featured merchandise.
  • Assist with merchandise resets throughout the store.
  • Provide support to Department Specialists, including price adjustments and special orders.
  • Ensure signage is current and accurate throughout the store.
  • Operate a forklift with proper training.
  • Communicate any Store Support Center issues to the General Manager for follow-up.
  • Share any merchandising, cost control, or sales ideas with the General Manager.
  • Participate in store meetings.
  • Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
