Job Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in aiding project management functions, ensuring seamless coordination, and facilitating the successful delivery of construction initiatives.


Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and maintaining the project timeline using MS Project
- Providing necessary updates and information
- Assisting the Senior Project Manager and supporting Project Managers
- Coordinating the procurement of materials and equipment essential for project execution
- Supporting resource allocation, tracking, and management to enhance project efficiency
- Maintaining precise project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and permits
- Preparing regular progress reports that summarize project status, milestones achieved, and potential risks
- Managing change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other project-related documentation
- Reviewing invoices and timesheets for approval by the project manager
- Performing additional duties as assigned by senior project managers

Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture is an asset
- Prior experience in a commercial or industrial environment as a project coordinator
- Ability to read and create sketches and preliminary drawings in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits and inspections
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus
- Familiarity with CAD software and construction industry-specific tools
- Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and relevant regulations
