We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Innovation Manager to join our team at Danaher Corporation. As a key member of our Global Product Management team, you will be responsible for bringing our product vision to life by translating customer needs into prioritized innovation and technology decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Co-develop and present business cases for New Product Development (NPD) based on customer needs
- Drive the NPD process by defining market requirements and designing target product profiles
- Participate in Product Strategy Review (PSR) meetings to present new business cases and align on product strategy and project prioritization
- Contribute to the Innovation roadmap and maintain Incremental Pipeline Value (IPV) and Innovation Growth Equation metrics aligned with a multi-year Strategic Plan
- Collaborate with Product Portfolio teams to gather and represent the voice of customer and the voice of business on NPD core teams and lead market discussions at monthly Product Planning Group (PPG) meetings to assess and manage risks and tradeoffs
- Establish leadership in cross-functional NPD core teams and ensure adherence to market and product requirements from pre-concept tollgate, through the entire product development cycle
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR Master's degree in field with 6+ years of related work experience or Doctoral Degree in the field with 3+ years of work experience
- Demonstrated experience in translating customer needs into product requirements and ensuring product designs meet customer needs
- Experience in developing and presenting business cases to top management and leadership
- Frequent travel of up to 30% and may include some international travel
- Knowledge of the molecular diagnostic testing and instrumentation marketplace
- Strategic marketing and/or product management experience
- Communicates effectively and is a strong team player/collaborator with various internal constituents, customers, and other stakeholders
