Job Description

The Housing Authority of Shreveport is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player to serve as an Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will have successful administrative experience and a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Housing Authority team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Document Management: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including program documents and appointments.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain good rapport and cooperative working relationships with representatives and vendors from external companies.
  • Office Operations: Perform other duties as assigned or required, including ordering office supplies and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of administrative assistant experience.
  • Skills: Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel.
