Financial Analyst, FP&A Job Description

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst, FP&A is a key member of the G6 Hospitality Finance team, responsible for contributing to financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, trend analysis, and project analytics. This role involves querying financial systems, preparing reports, analyzing financial results, and communicating forecasts to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate robust enterprise financial management by partnering with cross-functional department leadership and communicating financial position on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to build and maintain financial models necessary for providing insights and guidance.
  • Drive continuous improvement on processes and tools by championing efforts cross-functionally and within the team.
  • Support analysis and reporting on strategic initiatives and other enterprise priorities.
  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations across business units and multiple levels of leadership.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Results-driven with a strong continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Versatility in learning new financial systems and business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to improve skillset in oneself and amongst teammates.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA-eligible or members/candidates in the CFA program.
