As a Sales Service Representative at Core-Mark, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our SmartStock program, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in the sales region, and supporting the Sales Team in addressing their needs and concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandising and Sales Execution: Maintain a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers, execute the SmartStock program, and ensure products are fresh and within date code parameters.
- Customer Service and Support: Attend to customer needs and concerns promptly, ensure plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores, and identify display opportunities and maximize display positioning.
- Inventory Management: Identify and reduce out-of-stocks on shelves, ensure products are properly displayed, priced, and identified, and find solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the Sales Team to drive business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves, and identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Experience: 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.
- Skills: Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation, valid drivers license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
