IT Program Manager (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled contract IT Program Manager to support a prominent organization in the hospitality sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate complex initiatives that facilitate the delivery of IT projects and programs sponsored by the business.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets, timelines, and schedules, assess impacts and risks, identify stakeholders, and oversee cross-functional and vendor dependencies.
  • Utilize negotiation and influence skills to drive project progress, eliminate obstacles, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Oversee and manage project budgets, scope, timelines, quality, and costs to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify issues and risks, leading the development and implementation of mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent project reporting and communication, keeping project teams, stakeholders, and management informed through established channels and reporting tools.
  • Build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Employ IT Planning and PMO methodologies and tools to efficiently execute project management tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in managing projects or programs; or equivalent formal education in project management.
  • Preferred certifications include (PMP) Project Management Professional or (CSM) Certified Scrum Master.
  • Familiarity with project, program, and portfolio management best practices.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, including but not limited to Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects and programs from initiation to completion.
  • Strong leadership capabilities in both traditional and Agile software development environments.
  • Robust project and program management skills within a service/product-oriented industry.
  • Experience managing IT project budgets effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software such as EOS and development tools like Jira.
