Job Summary

The Surgical Coordinator plays a vital role in the daily operations of our central scheduling unit, working closely with practice managers to ensure seamless patient care. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on managing tasks related to booking hospital procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tasks related to booking hospital procedures, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling
  • Demonstrate a pleasant phone voice and effective communication skills when interacting with patients and hospital personnel
  • Work in a detailed-oriented environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Collaborate with hospital personnel to ensure procedures are booked, providing a seamless process for patients
  • Perform front office duties, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling patients, and verifying insurances
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of physician office scheduling experience
  • Clinical experience preferred
