Job Overview

PrideStaff seeks a highly experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services/CPA environment, and excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.

Responsibilities
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports.
  • Process accounts receivable and payable.
  • Process checks.

The selected individual will be responsible for maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying them. They will also develop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts and maintain subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying, and allocating transactions.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks.
  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services/CPA environment.
  • Experience with Payroll strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • Experience with accounting software.
