Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global Operations leader to join our team at Howmet Aerospace Inc. as Vice President, Global Manufacturing. This is a key leadership role that will drive operational excellence and strategic growth across our global manufacturing footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive operations strategy to drive productivity, quality, and delivery performance across our global manufacturing network.
  • Lead a team of direct reports, including plant managers, to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, finance, and supply chain, to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant managers, regional VPs, and site directors.
  • Drive cultural transformation and employee engagement through effective communication, training, and development programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in an operational leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, productivity improvements, and cost reductions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience leading global manufacturing operations, with a strong understanding of international business practices and cultural nuances.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
