Consumer Loan Processor

Univest Financial Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Consumer Loan Processor to join our Consumer Lending Support Team.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with laws and regulations, including the Univest Code of Conduct
  • Process loan files in a timely and independent manner, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies
  • Review and analyze income documentation and appraisal, calculate income, DTI, and CLTV, and validate documentation
  • Investigate and resolve lien and/or judgment issues
  • Obtain additional documentation from customers to clear underwriting conditions and prepare files for closing
  • Update loans throughout the process in Encompass or Meridian Link
  • Monitor pipeline to ensure regulatory timeframes are met
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 1+ years of experience in Mortgage or Consumer banking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with branch staff, sales staff, vendors, and customers
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work through and resolve problems
  • Knowledge of consumer loan guidelines, regulations, and requirements preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Encompass 360, and Meridian link systems highly preferred
