Position Overview

ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION: Compleat KiDZ stands as the leading and rapidly expanding multi-disciplinary rehabilitation service provider in North Carolina. Our unique capability lies in delivering comprehensive pediatric services all under one roof, supported by a collaborative approach to patient care. We specialize in Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy for children from birth to 18 years across our numerous clinics.

POSITION SUMMARY: We are in search of a dynamic, dedicated, and growth-oriented Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with pediatric expertise who thrives in a diverse environment and enjoys working with a varied caseload of children as part of a multidisciplinary team. Join us in our newly established clinic in Durham.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct evaluations, provide treatment, offer consultations, and manage discharge planning for children in an outpatient setting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Engage in thorough communication with the child’s healthcare team through progress reports, phone calls, and other communication methods.
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable assistive technology or adaptive equipment as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current North Carolina Licensure in SLP and ASHA certification.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic is preferred; Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in documentation practices.
