Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Duke University Health System. As a CNS, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care by providing expert clinical guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide evidence-based clinical expertise to nursing staff and patients
  • Develop and implement innovative programs and protocols to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in research projects

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current RN license and CNS certification
  • Minimum 3 years of pediatric RN experience and 1 year of pediatric critical care experience
