The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Missouri is in search of outstanding candidates for the position of Chief Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist.

This role presents an opportunity to collaborate with a vibrant, dynamic, and culturally diverse team at a leading academic medical institution, which is experiencing significant growth in surgical volumes and the expansion of surgical facilities.

Candidates will be considered for a non-tenure track faculty appointment, with rank determined by academic credentials and clinical expertise.

Pediatric anesthesiologists will engage closely with CRNAs, resident physicians, and medical students, providing both medical guidance and educational instruction in clinical and classroom settings.

There are opportunities to establish a work/call rotation that promotes an optimal work/life balance.



Minimum Qualifications:
MD/DO, ABA Board Certified in Anesthesiology, and a Missouri license is required for credentialing with MU Health Care. Experience in general and regional anesthesia for pediatric patients or anesthesia in outpatient surgical centers is essential.

Candidates will be assessed based on their previous experience and background in academic medicine.
