The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Missouri is actively seeking outstanding candidates for the position of Chief Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to become part of a vibrant, dynamic, and culturally diverse team at a leading academic medical institution that is experiencing significant growth in surgical volumes and the expansion of surgical facilities.

Qualified candidates will be considered for a non-tenure track faculty appointment, with rank determined by academic credentials and clinical expertise.

Pediatric anesthesiologists will collaborate closely with CRNAs, resident physicians, and medical students, providing essential medical direction along with both classroom and clinical instruction.

There are opportunities to establish a favorable work/call rotation that supports an ideal work/life balance.



Minimum Qualifications:
MD/DO, ABA Board Certified in Anesthesiology, and a Missouri license will be necessary for credentialing with MU Health Care. Experience in general and regional anesthesia for pediatric patients or anesthesia in outpatient surgical centers is required.

Candidates will be assessed based on their previous experience and background in academic medicine.
