Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

The Department of Anesthesiology is actively seeking qualified CRNA professionals to deliver anesthesia services across various surgical procedures at MU Health facilities. The role offers numerous advantages, including:

  • A competitive starting salary of $250,000 for a standard work commitment of 40 hours per week.
  • Potential for additional earnings for extra shifts, with rates reaching up to $210 per hour.
  • A generous package of 27 days of paid time off, alongside 9 paid holidays, and up to 8 additional days allocated for continuing medical education (CME) annually.
  • Flexible scheduling options designed to enhance work-life balance.
  • Possibility of a signing bonus.
  • Additional signing or retention bonuses available for SRNAs currently in training or candidates nearing completion of their training.


CRNAs will provide anesthesia care under the supervision of anesthesiologists at multiple sites. The demand for additional CRNAs is driven by the expansion of services, including the establishment of a new women's and children's patient tower. Candidates will be considered for staff positions within the Department of Anesthesiology, enjoying all associated benefits provided by the University of Missouri. Applicants must hold Board Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists and be eligible for licensure in Missouri.
