The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Missouri is in search of outstanding candidates for the position of Chief Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist.

This role offers a chance to be part of a vibrant, dynamic, and culturally diverse faculty and staff at a leading academic medical institution experiencing significant growth in surgical volumes and the expansion of surgical facilities.

Candidates will be evaluated for a non-tenure track faculty position, with rank determined by academic credentials and clinical expertise.

Anesthesiologists will collaborate closely with CRNAs, resident physicians, and medical students, providing medical oversight along with both classroom and clinical education.

Opportunities are available for establishing a work/call rotation that promotes an optimal work/life balance.

Minimum Qualifications:
MD/DO, ABA Board Certified in Anesthesiology, and a Missouri license is required for credentialing with MU Health Care. Experience in both general and regional anesthesia for pediatric patients or in outpatient surgical settings is essential.

Candidates will be assessed based on their prior experience and background in academic medicine.
