Your role is essential. Every position impacts our patients' lives, and you have the chance to make a significant difference. We are seeking a committed Clinical Laboratory Technologist like you to join our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for collecting and preparing specimens and executing laboratory procedures utilized in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

You will verify, document, and report laboratory results accurately and promptly for all tests conducted.

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, hospital policies, and laboratory protocols, including maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment, instruments, and workspaces.


Job Responsibilities:


You will possess comprehensive knowledge of human physiology and the impact of diseases relevant to the testing in your designated section.

You will adhere to the laboratory's protocols for specimen management, processing, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining patient test result records.

You will conduct only those tests authorized by the Laboratory Director, based on your education, training, experience, and technical skills.

You will perform various laboratory tests on specimens, evaluate test results according to established criteria, and report/enter/verify test results in the Laboratory Information System.

You will be capable of identifying issues that may negatively impact test performance or result reporting and must either resolve the issue or promptly inform the coordinator, laboratory management, or medical director.

You will document all corrective actions taken when the systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications.

Job Requirements:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a chemical, physical, biological, or other life sciences, along with relevant generalist clinical laboratory experience within the last five years
OR a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in laboratory medical technology, with clinical rotation.
National Registration as an MLS(ASCP)cm, MT(ASCP), or equivalent (e.g., AMT, AAB, HEW), or registry-eligible at the time of hire.
If not held at the time of hire, national certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment.
Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all staff, patients, patient families, and vendors.
