Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute outreach initiatives targeting community members and youth organizations.
  • Facilitate volunteer participation for outreach activities.
  • Oversee service projects and manage logistical details, including procurement of materials.
  • Advocate for service project opportunities and outreach activities among local entities.
  • Maintain communication with volunteers.
  • Monitor and report the impact of events to stakeholders.
  • Gather program achievements and visual documentation for the communications team.
  • Collaborate with the program manager to track volunteer and participant engagement within our database.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of two years of college or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in event planning and execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with diverse organizations and volunteers.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer and technology applications.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and persistent approach.
  • Interest or background in environmental issues.
  • Flexibility to accommodate a varied schedule, including business hours, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in education, environmental science, or sustainability.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector.
  • Background in volunteer management.
