Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Outreach CSR to join our team. As a Senior Outreach CSR, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to clients and community members, ensuring they receive the support they need to access vital health and social services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective customer service via telephone and in-person to clients and community members, addressing their queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community, state, and faith-based organizations to enhance our presence in the community.
  • Stay up-to-date on managed care relevant to supported client programs, ensuring accurate and informed responses to client inquiries.
  • Adhere to processing guidelines, protocols, and contract requirements for complaint processing and handling PHI/PII.
  • Assist consumers in health plan enrollment, disenrollment, and transfers, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Complaint Unit Supervisor and Project Management to fulfill assigned duties and meet performance standards.
  • Utilize computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct outreach activities, including phone calls, home visits, and community presentations, to promote program awareness and enrollment.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the community, participating in community events, health fairs, and other activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required, with 1+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
  • Required to travel within the region assigned
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • DSHS Community Health Worker certification preferred
  • One year of human services experience or experience dealing with the public
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of Excel required
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
