Position Overview

FI Consulting is in search of a dedicated full-time Analytical Consultant to join our team, contributing to various client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with client personnel at various levels to identify challenges and requirements, and developing tailored analytical solutions.
  • Creating and validating financial models and analytical tools/software for portfolio management, valuation, financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Establishing functional specifications and designing testing methodologies for analytical software applications.
  • Interpreting and analyzing complex datasets using statistical and econometric methods across different software platforms.
  • Effectively communicating intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Planning and executing project-related tasks.
  • Collaborating closely with internal Project Managers and team members to ensure project support.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for FI to enhance the solutions provided to clients.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in consulting or within a corporate/government setting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related quantitative or technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SAS, Python, VBA, SQL, and R.
  • Experience in data visualization using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Background in financial market analysis and credit risk assessment.
  • A strong interest in working in a project-driven environment with variable deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proven ability to comprehend complex data and business processes, articulating findings clearly to build trust with clients.
  • Authorization for permanent employment in the U.S. is required, as FI Consulting does not sponsor work authorization.

Security Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. Citizen; we cannot accept permanent residents or sponsor any visa holders.
