Account Manager Job Description

The Account Manager position plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and revenue for Alcon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to capitalize on revenue opportunities in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to increase sales and revenue in your territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Eye Care Practitioners to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide product and technical consultation to doctors on the appropriate use of Alcon products.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Area team to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
  • Proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Eye Care market and industry trends.
