Position Overview
Summary
The Guest Service Agent is responsible for transporting guests to and from various local destinations as requested by different hotel departments. This role also provides assistance and support to the front desk team as required.
Application Information
Applications for this role will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport guests to various local destinations as scheduled by the Front Desk.
- Introduce guests to local attractions, dining options, activities, and hotel amenities during transportation.
- Stay informed about daily hotel operations, locations, and timings for effective guest guidance.
- Maintain regular communication with the Front Desk regarding itinerary adjustments and guest requests.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained, both inside and out.
- Conduct routine checks of essential vehicle fluids and tire pressure.
- Report any vehicle issues to the Guest Services Manager promptly.
- Complete vehicle maintenance checklists as instructed.
- Accurately document any incidents or accidents that occur.
- Assist the Front Desk in locating lost luggage through airline and airport guest services.
- Drive responsibly at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in guest or customer service is preferred.
Additional Information
Supervision Structure
Given: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Received: Works under the direct supervision of the Front Office Manager, with tasks assigned according to established procedures and frequent checks on work quality. Guidance and support are readily available.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, see, hear, stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
Regularly operate vehicles in various weather conditions, including bright sunlight and nighttime driving. Exposure to distracting noises and the need to navigate slippery or uneven surfaces is common. Must be capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs, either independently or with assistance.
