COMMUNITY MANAGER

Regional Manager

Position Overview:

As a Community Manager, you play a vital leadership role, not only with your team but also with the residents of our communities.

Your responsibilities will include essential operational tasks such as collecting rent and managing marketing materials, developing your team, and safeguarding company assets.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing and resolving any concerns that arise.

It is crucial to make informed decisions regarding the financial health and overall safety of your community.

Your dedication to sharing community successes and challenges with your supervisor and team will ensure alignment with company objectives.


Essential Functions:
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide necessary counseling
  • Manage community assets and marketing strategies
  • Oversee the sale and leasing of homes to meet budgetary goals
  • Ensure timely collection of rent to meet company standards
  • Maximize occupancy and revenue from leased homes
  • Handle resident communications professionally and resolve issues
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance
  • Facilitate daily communication with team members to align goals
  • Identify and address opportunities for improvement within the community
  • Create a welcoming community environment with resident activities
  • Communicate and enforce community policies
  • Respond to internal communications promptly
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Protect company assets and manage expenses
  • Coordinate with vendors for home delivery and setup
  • Manage community projects to meet budget and timelines
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions
  • Conduct market surveys and implement marketing plans
  • Oversee evictions and utility cut-offs in compliance with regulations
  • Complete financial reviews as directed
  • Uphold community standards set by Quality Compliance
  • Attend company meetings and training sessions as required
  • Participate in annual budgeting processes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with community roles and coverage during absences
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to motivate and manage team performance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer skills
  • Team-oriented with a talent for building community
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • State-specific licensing may be required within 90 days

Education and Experience:
  • Valid in-state driver's license
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in property management or related fields preferred
