Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Account Representative to join our team at Suny cortland edu. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing assigned client accounts, addressing customer inquiries, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities:- Client Management: Address customer queries and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Sales and Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services, and approach new customers to expand their account portfolio.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with account managers to submit reports to senior managers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Contract Negotiation and Administration: Negotiate contracts, manage paperwork, and ensure timely and accurate order processing and invoicing.
- Post-Sales Support: Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (High School Diploma considered)
- Experience: Proven work experience as an Account Representative or a related role, with prior customer service experience an asset
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office, analytical problem-solving, negotiation, and excellent communication skills
- Personal Qualities: Confident, assertive, goal-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
