Job Title: Market General Manager II

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market General Manager II to join our team at Interstate Batteries. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the successful management of our company-owned distributorship, driving operational and financial excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including gross profit generation and lead acquisition strategies.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels, optimize supply chain operations, and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of proven managerial experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of battery or automotive systems, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business results.
