Responsibilities:
  • Providing Personalized Care: As a home health aide, you will provide assistance with daily tasks, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with measurements.
  • Assisting with Daily Tasks: You will assist clients with feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.
  • Documenting Observed Changes: You will document any observed changes in client condition and report them to the Director of Nursing.
Requirements:
  • Home Health Aide Program: You must have completed a Home Health Aide program and have a minimum of one year of documented healthcare experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: You must be certified in CPR and have a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray. You must also have a valid driver's license and insured automobile.
  • Physical Demands: You must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
