About the Role

This position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support services to patients and families in a hospital setting. The Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) will work under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Registered Nurse to deliver individualized patient care and perform various tasks to meet the daily needs and comfort of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care activities to meet the daily personal needs and comfort of patients, including performing Nurse Aide I skills as approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and facility policy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Organize and prioritize work effectively to ensure efficient delivery of patient care services.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and promote a positive patient experience.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) certification
  • General education degree or equivalent
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
