This role, reporting directly to the IT Director, involves the management, creation, design, and troubleshooting of IT desktop and network operations across various healthcare clinics and administrative locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks effectively to other Support Analysts as required.
  • Oversee inventory needs and ensure adequate office supplies for Desktop Support.
  • Engage in the hiring and training processes for Desktop Support personnel.
  • Deliver desktop support within a healthcare clinic setting for all system users.
  • Address and develop solutions for employee assistance requests related to computer, data, and IT issues.
  • Design network solutions, including addressing security concerns and related IT challenges.
  • Advise management and executive teams on areas of concern, proposing resolutions and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support and special projects.
  • Regularly visit clinic and administrative spaces to provide training and guidance on system usage.
  • Manage relationships with outsourced IT consultants and vendors, including contract negotiations and assessing organizational needs for services or products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) is preferred, ideally in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience in creating, designing, and implementing network administration protocols.
  • Familiarity with VMWare, Active Directory, and Exchange Server.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience providing IT support to users and employees.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to design and implement solutions for database, network, and other IT-related challenges.
  • Availability for prompt on-site responses to technical emergencies.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Capacity to think quickly and respond effectively in technical situations.
  • Proficient knowledge of PC hardware, including laptops, desktops, and printers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid CA Driver's License.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Involves light to moderate physical tasks on a daily basis.
  • Willingness to travel between various sites as necessary.
