Rutherford County Schools is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instructional Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and a valid certified Tennessee License. With at least five years of successful teaching experience, this individual will be confident in leading teachers professionally and have a deep knowledge of ELA and Math. The successful candidate will also have experience in conducting professional development presentations/in-services and be able to demonstrate knowledge of the implementation of Common Core State Standards. Additionally, they will be an effective communicator, proficient in data interpretation, and a team player.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teachers professionally and provide guidance on instructional strategies
  • Conduct professional development presentations/in-services to support teacher growth
  • Develop and implement data-driven instructional plans
  • Collaborate with teachers to improve student outcomes
  • Maintain regular attendance and interact effectively with students

Requirements:

  • Master's degree
  • Valid certified Tennessee License
  • At least five years of successful teaching experience
  • Experience in conducting professional development presentations/in-services
