We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controller to join our team at Peckham Industries. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting and financial functions of the company.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll departments.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly financial reports, including the General Ledger, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial regulations, including audits and tax requirements.
- Develop and implement financial systems and procedures to improve accuracy, control, and timely reporting.
- Supervise and manage a team of accounting professionals, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, with a Master's degree or CPA accreditation preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a construction or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and conventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and process complex financial statements and documents.
