Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our Pediatric Nurse Residency Program as a Registered Nurse I on the 4 Main Medical Unit. As a nurse resident, you will work under the guidance and support of our clinical nursing staff, nurse educators, and program facilitators. The program includes a Human Resources orientation, a Unit-Based orientation, and acute and critical care tracks.

Responsibilities
  • Gather physical and psychosocial data on patient and family and complete accurate and timely patient assessment.
  • Demonstrate clinical skills necessary to care for assigned patients.
  • Develop assessment, organizational, and prioritization skills necessary to care for patients whose clinical needs change throughout the shift.

  • Successful completion of hospital and nursing orientation at Children's National
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is between $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
