Salary and Benefits

Job Description

The Pediatric Nurse Residency Program RN is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit. As a member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in ongoing education and professional development.

  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans for pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN).
  • At least 0 years of experience in pediatrics or critical care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
