Position Overview

Role Summary

As a Senior AFSIM Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and defining strategies that empower the U.S. military to execute strike warfare and air combat operations in intricate operational landscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Development: Create, assess, and interpret models and operational concepts for innovative technologies, including advanced aerial platforms and strike munitions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with software development teams to enhance our tailored tools, focusing on efficient data representation, precise algorithm interactions, and automating analytical workflows.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor a group of analysts, sharing your insights and guiding the analytical direction alongside senior engineers.
  • Independent Research: Engage in self-directed research initiatives that promote inventive solutions and reward proactive contributions.
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience with AFSIM in modeling, simulation, and analytical tasks.
  • Familiarity with Air or Strike Warfare domains.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively with military personnel and government representatives.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or JAVA.
  • The capability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance upon starting, with the potential to achieve a Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates will stand out if they have:

  • A Master's or PhD in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience with additional mission-level analysis tools like Brawler, Suppressor, JIMM, or EADSIM.
  • A background in leading analysis teams and providing mentorship.
  • An active Top-Secret security clearance.
