Key Responsibilities:

  • Request and follow up on legal documents from courts and clients.
  • Draft legal documents for attorney review, including motions, proposed orders, supporting affidavits, and various pleadings related to sales documentation.
  • Identify potential challenges in the sales process and facilitate timely resolutions.
  • Assist Firm Attorneys with general legal support tasks.
  • Review dockets and public records to monitor case progress and recordings.
  • Conduct Quality Control checks on drafted pleadings.
  • Communicate with clients and provide updates on account statuses across multiple client systems.
  • Coordinate and schedule hearings with opposing counsel and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Manage original documents, including recordings and filings with the courts.
  • Cross-train and assist in other departments to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal assistant support role or a similar position.
  • Experience in the foreclosure sector is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to assist other teams as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while being highly productive.
  • Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess a positive attitude.
