Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with custodians of record to retrieve medical records in a timely manner
  • Enter updates into the ABI computer system to document all conversations with custodians, progress of orders, and tracking of orders
  • Provide quality control for all incoming records, ensuring that they match the work order
  • Schedule field jobs accurately and completely, verifying all information before setting appointments
  • Report daily productivity numbers to the immediate supervisor through accurate and consistent maintenance of the ABI spreadsheet
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with some college desirable but not required
  • Prior work experience in customer service, a call center, medical, legal, or insurance claims office
  • Ability to type 35 wpm and have introductory analytical, problem-solving abilities and decision-making abilities
