About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a talented professional to join our Consumer, Small and Business Banking division as a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the success of our branch network.

As a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a diverse team of direct and indirect reports. You will create a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes. Your primary focus will be on leading a highly defined customer engagement process, coaching to specific behaviors that lead to an enhanced customer experience and drive growth in the business.

Key responsibilities include:

Coaching, developing, and building a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business

Resolving low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business to meet Branch Network business objectives

Identifying opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options to support adoption and customer convenience

Leading the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experience

Mentoring and guiding talent development of direct reports and assisting in hiring talent

This role requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) website provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position. Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies.

Requirements:

4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

2+ years of leadership experience

Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports

Ability to build and inspire a team where adaptability, collaboration, and accountability to performance are critical to success

Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and opportunities, and execute a plan that empowers employees to achieve business objectives

Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills to manage time, prioritize, and delegate tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment

Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments, including affluent, high net worth, and small business

Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners, and within the community

Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs in order to provide relevant options to customers

Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology and share the value of digital banking

Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention

Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and employees

Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting, or military experience working in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources, or military recruiting
