Job Summary:

As a key member of our team, the Production Lead will oversee the management of Project Coordinators within the Wireless Connectivity Solutions division. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting conformance standards and enhancing the performance of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Create long and short-term plans utilizing project management software to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Project Scheduling: Develop project schedules utilizing an approved scheduling tool to meet project deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, sub-contractors, vendors, management, cybersecurity, and network engineering staff during project development, installation, and maintenance.
  • Team Management: Delegate project tasks to employees best qualified to complete them and provide effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control on projects throughout development and sustainment to maintain the expected standards.
  • Agile Methodologies: Utilize Agile methodologies to adjust project schedules and targets as needs or financing for the project change.
  • Lessons Learned: Compile lessons learned, conduct root cause analysis, risk management, and knowledge management to improve project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Education: BS/BA in Business Administration or Management related field. In lieu of degree, 6+ years direct experience working in Program and/or Project Management required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience leading multiple project teams.
  • Certifications: PMP certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communications skills, with direct experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project and program goals.
  • Budget Management: Experience managing projects with a minimum of $1M annual budget.
  • Organizational Skills: Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs especially MS Project.
  • Teamwork: Team oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clearance: Prior Military experience preferred. Active DoD Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a clearance.
