Position Summary

We are seeking a Training Operations Manager to lead the Field Services training division. This role encompasses the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide, mentor, and inspire the Training team to achieve excellence in their functions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to effectively communicate training events to our clientele.
  • Manage the budget, drive team objectives, and provide monthly performance updates to finance.
  • Identify training requirements for staff, ensuring that training programs and materials are up-to-date and impactful.
  • Evaluate training initiatives for quality and effectiveness, recommending enhancements as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest training methodologies and industry demands.
  • Promote a positive team environment and engage in team development activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Plan annual learning and development events aligned with budgetary constraints and customer needs.
  • Coordinate logistics for live training events, including research and booking.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop training webinars and materials for clients.
  • Deliver training on FieldEdge products and features both remotely and in-person as required.
  • Assist in updating training course materials and online training content.
  • Support the creation of internal training programs for new and existing employees, empowering internal trainers to develop effective courses and materials.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in software training.
  • A minimum of two years of experience with the FieldEdge platform.
  • Demonstrated customer-facing skills.
  • A passion for mentoring and contributing to the professional growth of others.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
  • Comfortable presenting to small and medium-sized groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a commitment to quality.
  • Proven capability to engage with various departments (Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success, and Product).
  • A proactive attitude with a desire to exceed expectations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 30%).
