At General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), we are dedicated to transforming technology into opportunity. As a Crisis Management Training Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational capabilities of agencies through innovative training solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop supplementary training materials and educational resources tailored to support the Division of Emergency Operations (DEO) initiatives.
  • Create comprehensive training documentation and operational guidelines for health teams deployed globally.
  • Facilitate the creation of presentations, ensuring training content is current and effectively delivered.
  • Oversee the management and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate deployment liaison activities.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions and educational programs for personnel, utilizing advanced instructional technologies.
  • Implement innovative training products that leverage the latest approaches and technologies for both live and online formats.
  • Utilize cutting-edge instructional technologies to design and manage web-based training that meets compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify and amplify response-related messaging, ensuring effective communication with diverse audiences.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a related field, with a preference for emergency management and prior experience with public health organizations.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication skills for operational strategy briefings; ability to identify resource gaps; excellent interpersonal skills across various communication platforms.

Preferred Attributes:
Exceptional proofreading skills and attention to detail; capacity to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure situations.
