Nurse Coordinator Role

The Post Surgical Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts. In collaboration with other team members, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care according to established policies and procedures.

  • Participate in admission and discharge processes to optimize throughput and quality of care.
  • Contribute to ongoing assessments of patient care services in the unit, working closely with the management team.
  • Support engagement initiatives by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
  • Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff members.

A minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting is required. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a sign-on bonus opportunity. The estimated annual salary range is $95,000 - $110,000, based on location and experience.
