About the Position

This position is part of the DC Department of Human Services, specifically within the Family Services Administration. The primary responsibilities include analyzing current and proposed operating programs to evaluate their effectiveness in achieving objectives, and monitoring projects and special assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and conduct program analyses of substantial scale and impact concerning all aspects of current or projected operating programs for actual or potential effectiveness in achieving planned goals and objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor projects, and integrated reporting system(s) affecting program(s) throughout the activity.
  • Communicate information to supervisor for effective evaluation of program operations and milestones.
  • Analyze, extract, summarize, and identify significant trends and issues.
  • Forecast and estimate program requirements and prepare programmatic reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical and narrative data, etc, for presentations and briefings.

Requirements

Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, one (1) year of specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression.

Working Conditions

The work is primarily performed in a normal office setting.
