We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Merchandise Expert to join our team at Target. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional shopping experience by providing expert knowledge and assistance in our General Merchandise areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that the sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed for guests, and that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Process inbound deliveries, complete backroom fills, and maintain backroom and fixture room organization.
  • Assist with inventory management, including conducting weekly price change workload and completing radio frequency ID (RFID) scans.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and deliver on business priorities.
Requirements
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
